Rose Pump House

Historical restoration and conversion of a 4000 square foot early-1900s pump house into a one-bedroom apartment for artists and writers to use when in the Dallas area, as well as an entertainment annex for a private residence. The project includes restoration of the original diesel generator and water pumps to ‘new’ appearance and will be enclosed/covered in glass for visitors to view. The project will also include the addition of a gourmet kitchen and art gallery, installation of HVAC and lighting, computer-access flooring, and seating for up to 200 people. Outdoor renovations feature several water elements, including a waterfall leading to a reflecting pool, which was converted from an existing holding tank, extensive exterior landscaping and art, sunken gardens and seating areas for guests. A glass canopy connects the pump house to the owner’s home.
